The day of the course was beautiful blue skies and I was tentative about being stuck in a kitchen but as we walked up the path to Jonti’s quaint Cornish home all my doubts disappeared. It was like entering the kitchen of an old friend - Jonti immediately made us feel welcome with hot coffee and freshly baked biscuits. It felt like we were a camera zooming in on ingredients and skills in the kitchen and as we toasted our homemade dishes with a beautiful glass of wine it made me appreciate how lucky we are to be able to cook incredible food whenever we want to.
